Our tree went up on Sunday night, but it has yet to be decorated. Ruttiger took advantage of the empty branches to get involved in a little army role-playing! He knows how much the boys love to play war, so he put on some face camouflage and hid in the tree!
After a long, uncomfortable day in the tree, Rudy decided to take it easy – but he brought the Duders a treat! He knows that they have Goldfish crackers every single night as a bedtime snack, so he brought them some fun Holiday ones!
Over the past few days, Ruettiger has been keeping the boys in line, and in awe!
Saturday was the annual IEOA Truck Light parade. Rudy obviously didn’t want to miss out on the fun, because we found him hanging from the rear-view mirror in the car so he could join us!
He knows that Mister goes curling every Tuesday night, so Ruettiger decided he’d give the sport a try too!
Easton’s advent calendar is Pirate Playmobil, and I think Rudy likes it, because the boys found him this morning in the Crows Nest of E’s pirate ship! Ahoy there Matey! AAARrrrrrrrr!
Apparently Ruettiger has taken an interest in DIY (Maybe he’s been watching too much HGTV). We awoke this morning to find him swinging on a homemade swing in the basement!
Ruettiger is a bit of a snoopy little elf. He couldn’t wait to see what the next beer in the Phillips advent calendar was, so he figured he’d dive in and check it out for himself.
Fun with googly-eyes! Silly Ruettiger put googly-eyes on a wedding portrait of me and Mister, and then decided to join the fun and wear a pair himself too!
Ruettiger knows how much the Duders love Minecraft, so he took the first opportunity he could to see what all the fuss was about… and what better way to it than to go ALL OUT and surround yourself with blocks and play while wearing a Creeper head?
For the 4th year running, December 1st brought the arrival of our Dey Family Holiday elf: “Rudy” Ruettiger! Night one he brought advent calendars with him, and left a quick message (using NHL Scrabble Tiles) for the Duders.
His adventures this year will be documented on Instagram, and shared on Pinterest. (Speaking of Pinterest, you can check out Ruettiger’s previous antics by going to his Pinterest board here, or scrolling back through the blog archives.)
