One of our many family traditions, is to make a trip to Galey Farms every October. Rain or shine, we cram ourselves onto the crowded hayride and get pulled by a tractor out into the muddy pumpkin patch. The boys have had mixed feelings about it over the years, but this year was a hit with both of them. We met up with E’s little pal Rhys (and his parents, of course), and together the three boys stomped around, chased each other, and sorted through hundreds of options.
And in the end, Deklan found the “perfect” pumpkin! He couldn’t have been happier, even if he did need a hand to carry it most of the way.
