Sadly, the time has come for us to say goodbye to our little elf.
He’s been a super fun addition to our holiday family, and we already can’t wait to have him back next year!
Ever the entertainer, here are our last 5 days (of 2011) with “Rudy” Ruettiger…
Day 20: Silly Rudy… those are Easton’s Chucks! They’re far too big for you. But they sure do look cute – stylin’ little guy.
Day 21: That funny, pesky little elf got ahold of a marker and drew all over the boys 1st Christmas photos!
Day 22: Sporty as ever, Rudy challenged Georges “Rush” St. Pierre to a UFC fight in his makeshift laundry basket octagon, while Andrei Arlovski, Chuck Liddell, Clay Guida, and Randy Couture cheered them on.
Day 23: Looks like musicality is another of Ruettiger’s talents. The boys found him playing the piano this morning.
Christmas Eve: Our last morning with our elf friend. Rudy left a goodbye message for the boys, and presents for the whole family… Ornaments for our tree. The Calgary flames for Deklan, The Boston Bruins for Easton, The Detroit Redwings for Daddy, and the Chicago Blackhawks for Mummy. Here’s what his letter said: To Deklan & Easton, I had fun at your house this year. Thank you for welcoming me into your holiday family. I left a little present for each of you and your Mummy & Daddy. I hope you like them. Don’t forget to be good even when I’m not around because Santa is always watching. See you next year! Love, “Rudy” Ruettiger
