On a beautiful July day, in a picturesque backyard setting, Andrea and Kris said their “I do”‘s.
The faith that these two put in me was beyond compare.
Back in October, only hours after my very first wedding shoot (and before I had even downloaded or viewed the images) they told me that they wanted me to photograph their wedding.
I was honored, and more than a little nervous. But as their wedding day proved, I shouldn’t have been the slightest bit hesitant.
As Andrea put it when we chatted on the phone the day before the wedding, she was hoping her day would be “imperfectly perfect”. She was the picture of a laid-back bride, who’s only real concern was marrying the man of her dreams… the rest of the details were just trivial.
I met the bride, her daughter, her mom, and the rest of her attendants at Kiwi Cove Lodge, in Ladysmith. They’d stayed the night there, and were having a relaxing day, getting ready.
From there, I headed over to the ceremony/reception location – the home of Andrea’s parents. They bought it just over a year ago, and spent months preparing it for the big event. It was beautiful!
I could go on and on and on, but I think instead, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Congratulations and much love Mr & Mrs MacRae!
Just like Kev & I, you two truly are Better Together.
