“Look Good Do Good” Cut-a-Thon

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at the “Look Good Do Good” Cut-a-Thon, benefitting the Cridge Centre’s Respitality Program.

Headstart salon offered up the location, and the stylists volunteered their time to give haircuts for a minimum $10 donation.  There were door prizes handed out, and the house was PACKED from the minute I arrived, until the minute I left.  While the exact number of attendees wasn’t tallied up, I don’t think it would be exaggerating to say that there were about 150 people through the door.

After providing 51 hair cuts, the Cridge Centre raised $1450 for their Respitality Program!  To put that in perspective, $1450 will support 15 families in the Cridge Respitality Service for a year.  And 51 cuts that afternoon, means that the 5 volunteer stylists, each gave 10 cuts in 4 hours!

And saving the cutest for last… these two adorable little sisters…
