I’ve been reading PhotoLife magazine since about 2008, and I’ve been a subscriber since about 2009.

Last summer, I decided that it was time to stop just reading, and to start also entering some of the contests that they promote in every issue.  My favorite one, is called ” Showtime”. It’s a different theme every issue, and when I saw the upcoming Flowers theme, I chose a few favorites, and submitted them to the magazine.

Much to my happy surprise and delight, one of my photos (the bridal bouquet from Torie & Mike’s wedding) was chosen to be published in the April/May 2012 issue.

Now you’ll have to please excuse me while I go and pat myself on my back ;)
